Nova NewcomerNova Newcomer is a communication consultant who helps companies develop internal communication strategy and deploy communication tools. Whether you need a new plan for your company’s intranet, your business plans translated to an employee audience or you want to craft an internal PR strategy to motivate your workforce, Nova Newcomer has the experience and network of providers to help you achieve it.

Before becoming a consulstant, Nova Newcomer worked for adidas Group, a German-based sportwear company with offices located throughout the world. Nova started with the company first in their American subsidiary in Portland, OR and then moved to Germany to work at the global headquarters. In her role as Senior Manager for Internal Communication, Nova advised senior executives on presentations, wrote speeches for major internal and external events, managed intranet site launches and planned internal communication strategy for a global organization within the company.

An executive from her most recent employer said, “Not only did Nova assume an important role in building our strategy and vision, she established a portfolio of communication tools including intranet sites, management and coordination of large scale events and employee surveys that successfully translated this direction to all employees throughout our 2000 plus workforce.”

Nova Newcomer has been a professional communicator for the past 12 years, starting her career as an intern co-host for a daily radio show promoting the Portland Rockies baseball team. Her first paid foray into the world of the word was as a media relations assistant in the Portland State University Athletics Department. Writing pre- and post-game press releases, creating media guides, schedules and game programs, she learned early on the value of telling the most compelling story to the audience.

In her spare time, Nova stays close to her two passions in life: politics and baseball (not always in that order).
